INSURANCE AND BILLING
Accepted Health Insurance
We currently accept Medicare, all TN Medicaid, and most health insurance companies. The benefit Information obtained cannot be considered a guarantee of actual benefits or insurance payment for services rendered. We recommend contacting your insurance company prior to your visit to confirm coverage for therapy services. If you do not have any health insurance, or are out of network, we offer affordable self-pay rates.
Billing Your Insurance
We work with each patient to ensure the billing process goes as smoothly as possible and to obtain the necessary referrals for authorizations as we are able. We bill your insurance company (if applicable) on your behalf and work to collect the amount you owe. Please contact your Insurance company to verify your benefit information, including any copays, coinsurance, or deductibles.
Insurance Coverage and Bill Pay
It's important to know what is covered and what you're responsible for paying. Your plan may include a deductible, copayment, coinsurance, or out-of-pocket responsibility. Be sure to review your specific benefits prior to beginning therapy. All bills that aren't covered by insurance are due, and payable, upon receipt and at the time of service. If your account with Prestige is delinquent, it will be turned over to a collection agency.
Overview of Billing Cycle
After an initial PT evaluation is completed with charges and documentation entered on the services rendered, our billing team verifies your insurance and submits a claim. Once a claim has been processed, you should receive information outlining the payments from the insurance company (Explanation of Benefits) and any patient responsibility like a copayment, coinsurance, or deductible if applicable.
